THE photographer hit by Justin Bieber's car has given an update on his wellbeing live from his hospital bed.
Maurice Lamont was knocked over by the Baby singer's pick up truck as he was leaving a church in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night.
Today the snapper took to Instagram to share a video with his friends and followers, where he clearly had no hard feelings towards Justin, despite him ruining his birthday.
Filming himself lying on a hospital trolley with a white blanket over him, he said: "Shot gunner is hanging in there everybody.
"An hour before my birthday hits, I get ran over my Justin Bieber. Isn't that something?
"He's a good kid though, I think the truck was a little bit too big for him though.
"Because there's no way he could see over the front, it was the slope it was on, but like I said he got out, he was compassionate, he's a good kid. Accidents happen.
"Hopefully everything works out here, getting ready to go into the X-rays now."
Maurice captioned the video: "WOW WHAT A WAY TO BRING IN MY BIRTHDAY! SHOTGETTER POWER! I WISH BIEBER WAS STILL ON TOUR!!"
Bieber is currently being quizzed by cops after he ran over the snapper's leg and sent him flying in Los Angeles.
The accident happened days after the singer cancelled the last 14 dates of his world tour amid claims he wanted to "reconnect with his faith".
The pop star had been attending a service at the Saban Theater before being caught on camera knocking into the pap outside the building as he pulled away in his vehicle.
The accident happened around 9.30pm last night local time as Justin, 23, headed home.
The singer was caught on video getting into his black Dodge Ram pick-up and pulling out into the street, side-swiping a snapper who among a group attempting to take pictures.
Emergency services were called and Maurice, 57, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the New York Post's Page Six column.
The Sorry singer remained at the scene until police officers and paramedics arrived and spoke to officials before getting a ride home with a friend.
Beverly Hills police have confirmed no arrests were made and they do not believe any criminal activity was involved.
