Who would have thought a simple song can turn a whole country into the ultimate tourist destination!

But who are we trying to kid? Anything that is sung by Justin Bieber will not only make millions of girls squeal with delight but it seems it can also influence one's holiday destination decision.

According to Hotels.com™ it's also sending travelers flocking to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. The travel expert reveals that since the song launched on 17 April, online searches for the exotic Caribbean island are up more than 45%.

The irony of it all is that the song Despacito literally translates 'slowly' which holidaymakers are only doing the complete opposite as they are apparently eager to see "how they do it down in Puerto Rico".
