The Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee megahit "Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber continues to dominate the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a fifth consecutive week.
The catchy tune, which has ruled the Hot Latin Songs chart for 19 weeks, also leads Billboard's Summer chart for a second week.
The first Hot 100 topper sung predominantly in Spanish since Los del Rio's "Macarena" topped the charts in 1996, "Despacito" is poised to become the song of the summer.
Even though it has seen a slight dip in digital sales and streams, the global hit continues to rule the charts.
According to Billboard, "Despacito" has sold 141,000 downloads - a 5% drop from 148,000 downloads sold the previous week. Even so, it continues to lead the Digital Song Sales chart for a sixth week. The duo's remix with Bieber fueled 80% of the song's sales for a second consecutive week.
"Despacito" scored 68.3 million U.S. streams in its fifth week leading the Streaming Songs chart, down 2% from 69.6 million in the week ending June 1, according to Nielsen Music.
Meanwhile, on YouTube, the Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee "Despacito" music video released in January is close to hitting two billion views - that's not counting the myriad of different versions uploaded by fans.
