Many of pop music's biggest names joined singer Ariana Grande in Manchester, UK for the One Love benefit concert. The event, held to support those affected by the May 22 Manchester terrorist attack, included performances from Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan, and Coldplay. Grande closed the show with a heart-melting cover of "Over the Rainbow," ending an evening of memorable and moving performances.

Before launching into "Love Yourself," Bieber addressed the crowd in a call and response testifying to the uniting power of love, even in the face of terror; a powerful message, coming days after another terror attack in London:
"What an amazing thing we're doing tonight, would you not agree? Would you agree that love always wins? What a better way to fight evil, with evil, than to fight evil with good.
It's an honor for me to be here."
After his performance of "Cold Water," Bieber shared a message of hope while on the verge of tears:
"I'm not going to let go of hope. I'm not going to let go of love. I'm not going to let go of God … Put your hand up if you're not going to let go. God is good in the midst of the darkness, God is good in the midst of the evil, God is in the midst no matter what's happening in the world. God is in the midst and he loves you and he's here for you."
