Sunday is the date of the 2016 American Music Awards! So what time and TV channel are this year's AMAs? And when and where can you watch performances by Justin Bieber, Fifth Harmony, Lady Gaga and more?

The 2016 AMAs pre-shows begin live at 6 p.m. EST. E!'s red carpet coverage will feature hosts Tinashe and Jason Kennedy.

And there will be performances by Spencer Ludwig and Emeli Sande.

Then tune in to ABC at 8 p.m. EST for the 2016 AMAs. Those who have a participating television provider and live in certain markets can also stream the entire American Music Awards live via the Watch ABC app or website.

Jay Pharoah and Gigi Hadid will host the 2016 American Music Awards. And the former Saturday Night Live star has already hinted that there will be some political jokes.

"You might take events from the year, reflect on them, and make jokes about them pertaining to whatever artist is there of course," Pharoah said before the 2016 AMAs. "Also, listen, man, we're not holding back. This is no holds barred. We're going in and we're doing it in a very tasteful way and it's going to be fun for everybody."

Drake leads the way with a record 13 nominations at the 2016 American Music Awards. He beat Michael Jackson's record of 11 nominations in 1984. Rihanna was just behind with seven nominations, while Adele and Justin Bieber each have five. Bieber and Rihanna are two of the finalists for the coveted Artist of the Year prize alongside Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and Carrie Underwood.

Some of the biggest names in music will also be taking the stage at the 2016 AMAs. Scheduled performers include Niall Horan, Lady Gaga, Fifth Harmony, Green Day, The Weeknd, James Bay, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, Twenty One Pilots, The Chainsmokers with Halsey, Maroon 5 with Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande with Nicki Minaj, and DJ Khaled with Minaj, August Alsina, Future and Rick Ross,

Justin Bieber will also perform live from his tour stop in Zurich. And Sting, who will receive the 2016 American Music Award of Merit, will perform a medley of his hits.
