LA Rams QB Jared Goff picks Lakers over Clippers, Bieber over Timberlake

LOS ANGELES (KABC) --

Jared Goff was the first-overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and the Los Angeles Rams are still learning much about his skills on the field and his personality off the field.

The Northern California native is the son of former Major League Baseball player Jerry Goff and played college football at the University of California, Berkeley.

In a quick segment of "This or That" on "Rams Primetime Saturday with Jay Mohr," Goff helped Rams fans learn more about his personal side as he heads into his rookie season.

Between the heated Los Angeles debate on NBA teams, Goff said he liked the Lakers over the Clippers. Now if the 21-year-old could deliver five championships like Kobe Bryant did for the purple and gold, Rams fans could appreciate his nod toward the historic NBA franchise.

Though he wears a suit well, Goff said he prefers the comfort of his sweats, which would seem to coincide with his laid-back attitude.

Asked whether he was a night owl or early bird, Goff said he was a night owl. Rams fans hope that means he'll be up all hours of the night studying his playbook instead of on the Sunset Strip.

Goff said he'd take sushi over a burger, which completely goes against the love showed to In-N-Out burgers by the Rams coaching staff in Episode 4 of HBO's "Hard Knocks," in which assistant coach Brandon Fisher drove a golf cart to one of the restaurants in Irvine and ordered $76 worth of food.

Lastly, Goff apparently wasn't "Sorry" for his selection of Justin Bieber over Justin Timberlake.

"I'm going to go Bieber because he's closer to my age," Goff said.

Just remember Goff, "What Goes Around Comes Around."
