Justin Bieber Performs "Cold Water" Live, Covers Tracy Chapman & 2Pac

It feels like we've heard a lot about Justin Bieber lately, but now it's time to hear from him in the way he seems to best express himself: Song.

The 22-year-old singer performed live in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, reminding fans and critics alive how much sheer talent he possesses. The Biebs sang a live, acoustic cover of "Cold Water," his song with Major Lazer, as well as a variety of covers including Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" and 2Pac's "Thugzz Mansion."

We were most impressed with Justin's set, but it seems he didn't feel it was his best. "I don't usually get nervous but tonight I was thrown off and I was," he tweeted. "Sorry about that. Really wanted to be my best. Hope u all had fun...Just want to make people smile. And teach them the perfect squat."

We think he's being a little hard on himself. BBC Radio 1 tweeted a shout-out to the Biebs "for that INSANELY AMAZING performance for #R1LiveLoungeMonth," adding sweetly, "what a guy!"

Apparently before Justin hopped on the mic, he gave BBC Radio 1's Clara Amfo a personal tour of his L.A. digs, complete with an inflatable water slide, basketball court and super sized alligator statue.

Oh, and because we know you were wondering, yes, the one and only Todd Bieber was there. That dog is really living the life these days!
