If you must to have some dude hanging out at your party on the couch with an acoustic guitar, may we suggest Justin Bieber?
Biebs stopped by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge in Los Angeles for a half hour live set, and after doing a little yoga on camera to warm up, he sang his little heart out. He did a mix of his own songs, acoustic versions of collaborations and covered Tracy Chapman and Tupac, of course.
Bieber says his mom played "Fast Car" a lot when he was a kid, and it's one of his favorite songs. He's been doing a live version of it on the Purpose tour.

He also covered 2Pac's "Thugz Mansion," which certainly seems to capture Bieber's emotional state over the past year, despite the glaring differences between his youth and the one Tupac Shakur details on the track.

But when DJ Clara Amfo asks Bieber about his collaborations with Kanye West that didn't end up, Bieber checks out of the interview.
Afterwards, he apologized for being off his game on Twitter.
I don't usually get nervous but tonight I was thrown off and I was. Sorry about that. Really wanted to be my best. Hope u all had fun

Bieber also played some of his own songs, including an acoustic versions of two of his recent collaborations: "Cold Water" and "Let Me Love You," recorded with Major Lazer and DJ Snake, respectively.

Bieber was spotted singing "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis at karaoke in LA the other night, so there's really no telling what he'll cover next. Biebs moves in mysterious ways.
