Justin Bieber, Rihanna NOT Hooking Up

Justin Bieber and Rihanna are NOT hooking up, despite a demonstrably false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can bust the story.

The allegation can be found in Wednesday's new issue of the National Enquirer, which includes the headline, "Biebs Scores a Bulls-Eye With Rihanna." The accompanying story says, "Pop punk Justin Bieber is getting hot and heavy with R&B sex kitten Rihanna." Citing "nightlife spies," the outlet claims, "The duo got down and dirty at a London nightclub on August 18," and Bieber "kept the steamy rendezvous secret by arriving with a decoy date."

"Justin's confidence is sky-high now that he's been having booty calls with Rihanna, who's been his fantasy girlfriend for years," a so-called "source" tells the supermarket tabloid. "She used to tell him he was too young, but now he's more experienced and thinks the age gap shouldn't be an issue." In fact, the magazine's supposed "spy" further claims that though the two left the club separately, "They even met up afterward for more fun!"

Uh, not quite. While Bieber and Rihanna did indeed party at the same club earlier this month, it wasn't because they were having a "steamy rendezvous." As Gossip Cop already reported, Bieber was in town to perform at the V Festival, and he had a night out with Bronte Blampied, a friend of gal pal Sofia Richie.

Blampied wasn't a "decoy," because Bieber is allowed to have platonic relationships with multiple women, and that includes Rihanna. And far from having "booty calls" with Bieber, the songstress is actually back together with on-and-off boyfriend, Drake. So, here's what's really going on: The National Enquirer saw Rihanna and Bieber were both at the same hotspot and built a story around the sighting.

It's just not a true one. And considering both superstars are currently involved with other people, it's a pretty embarrassing gaffe.
