LOS ANGELES, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber will be featured in the 2017 Guinness World Records book with eight record titles, many of which stem from the success of his most recent album, Purpose.
Guinness announced that it presented the 22-year-old singer with eight plaques before the start of his sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The song "What Do You Mean?" was streamed 30,723,708 times in seven days following its release, earning Bieber the record for most streamed track on Spotify in one week. He also nabbed the record for most streamed album on Spotify in one week as Purpose was streamed 205 million times in seven days.
Bieber also boasts the record for most subscribers on YouTube for a male musician and most viewed individual YouTube music channel, as well as most followers on Twitter for a male and most simultaneous tracks on the U.S. singles chart.
Guinness tweeted a photo of Bieber with his framed records saying, "@justinbieber sings his way into the new #GWR2017 book with a set of 8 record titles!"
Bieber retweeted the post to his record number followers.
