JUSTIN Bieber is the latest celebrity to pay tribute to Christina Grimmie.

The Voice singer was tragically shot dead over the weekend in Orlando, Florida, while signing autographs for fans. 

Justin got teary as he dedicated his song Purpose to the 22-year-old during his show in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The star whispered in the middle of his performance: "Grimmie, can you hear me?"

The songwriter, who was lying down, then wiped away his tears and got up.

It is believed the duo got close when Christina toured with Justin's ex Selena Gomez.
