Justin Bieber enjoyed an impromptu road trip with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix and music video director Rory Kramer on Tuesday night (24May16).
The Sorry singer had been recording with 20-year-old wunderkind Martin - born Martijn Garritsen - while 31-year-old video director pal Rory tagged along as he needed cheering up.
Rory, who directed his I'll Show You video, thanked Justin on Instagram for coming to his aid after he woke up feeling down.
"I woke up today having a rough day, felt alone, felt like I had little self worth, " he posted online. "I'm human, I have bad days too and thank you to those that reached out and offered support. Thanks @justinbieber for always knowing when I'm down and dropping what you're doing to make sure I'm still me. #RunIt."
Justin, who has recently admitted to struggling with fame, also shared a picture of the trio chilling out by a beach campfire.
"These are the nights I live for," wrote the 22-year-old pop star, who boasts 228.2million followers. "Had one of the best nights of my life last night. Road trip!"
However, it isn't all basic living for Justin and his pals, as the What Do You Mean singer is reportedly renting a lakeside home in exclusive Toluca Lake, Los Angeles complete with its own jet skis, boat, and dock.
Justin is reportedly paying $80,000 (£55,000) a month for the 10 bedroom home which also has a reported 16 bathrooms. It also boasts a gym, game room, screening room and a pool.
On Monday (23May16), Justin revealed he isn't that keen on awards shows calling them "hollow".
"I don't feel good when I'm there nor after," he explained in a lengthy post on Instagram after he attended the 2016 Billboard Awards."These award shows seem so hollow. I get the premise is to award people for their accomplishments, but is it really? Because when I look in the audience I see a bunch of fake smiles so that when the camera hits them they look happy."
