"Sorry" singer Justin Bieber has been taking several hits from the social media. It is a usual scene for the Hollywood star but lately, Bieber had been getting a lot of criticism especially with his recent activities on social media like complaining about award shows, tossing gifts from fans and even singing Taylor Swift songs on video.
It has been quite a week for the 22-year-old performer after he received a lot of backlash from some of his 69 million followers on Instagram when he posted a long essay on award shows and how he feels it lacks authenticity.
"I don't know about these award shows.. No disrespect to anybody at any of the shows or the people running it," Bieber wrote on Instagram. "But I don't feel good when I'm there nor after. I try to think of it as a celebration but can't help feeling like people are rating and grading my performance," he added as a caption to a photograph of a mansion and a group of sheep.
Bieber then compared the usual scenario at award shows and the audience on his performances saying that in award shows, "a lot of people in the audience there to be seem worried about how much camera time they will get or who they can network with," he continued.
Meanwhile, the on-again off-again boyfriend of Selena Gomez also gained a lot of attention when he posted a video of himself singing to Taylor Swift's songs. It had many wondering if Swift, who is known to be Gomez's best friend, is friends with Bieber, Seventeen reports.
Furthermore, another news captured many this week when Bieber was caught on video throwing an Argentine flag given by a fan outside the window of his vehicle. It was shown on video that Bieber was surrounded by a lot of fans and security upon hopping inside his car but when he was given a flag, he threw it and closed his window, Yahoo reports.
Justin Bieber has yet to comment on the incident.
