When Justin Bieber picked out the stunning 6-10 carat $500,000 ring he'd use to propose to Hailey Baldwin, he had one absolutely crucial thing in mind — the shape of her hands.
"In the end, Justin wanted something that would gracefully accentuate Hailey's beautifully-shaped hands," his jeweler Jack Solow said. "We settled on an oval stone that was just exceptional in its length and grace. Look at her hands — she's exquisite."

Scooter Braun, Justin's manager, was actually the one who reached out to Solow initially.
The jeweler also indicated that he had "a few weeks" to make the ring, which would imply that Justin knew he wanted to propose to Hailey basically immediately after they got back together.
When Solow gave Justin the ring, he said Justin seemed incredibly confident in the decision he was making and he was in a good "head space."
"He seemed really excited. He was looking inside the diamond with the loop, and said 'I think I see Hailey's face,'" Jack said. ..................... okay, sure Justin, whatever you say.
Despite their super quick engagement, Solow told E! News that Justin seemed to have a "certain serenity and peacefulness" about him when he was about to propose, and apparently Baldwin loves the final product. But like, how could she not?!
