Shawn Mendes shows no signs of slowing down.
The 19-year-old Canadian singer scored his third-straight number one album with his self-titled third studio project.

"Shawn Mendes" debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart with 182,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending May 31, according to Nielsen Music. The singer-songwriter's latest project is his most-successful debut to date, achieving 37,000 more sales than his last benchmark, 2016's "Illuminate".
With this new addition to his collection, Mendes is officially the third-youngest artist to ever score three number one albums. Only Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber achieved the feat sooner, with the former being 15-years-old while the latter was 17-years-old at the time.
The only pop album to have a better week in 2018 than Mendes' self-titled album is Justin Timberlake's "Man of the Woods", which sold 293,000 units on the Feb. 17 chart. Timberlake's project is also the only pop album to out-stream Mendes' latest effort.

Rounding out the top five this week is Post Malone's "beerbongs & bentleys" at number two. Pusha T achieves his best charting album in history with "Daytona", in part do to his highly-publicized rap beef with Drake.
A$AP Rocky's "Testing" lands at number four and Cardi B's "Invasion of Privacy" sits in fifth place.
