The singer is trying her best to have a peaceful and low-key life. Selena Gomez was in attendance at the L.A. premiere of her animated film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation today, and while there she shared some things about her life with her fans.
The singer and actress explained why it is so important to her to 'de-stress' especially after everything that she went through the past year.
'In general, I think it's important just to remain positive. I'm at that age where I think that's what matters, is making sure I'm healthy, and people are happy that I love,' Selena told ET.
In addition, she also mentioned something similar while stopping by Good Morning America on Friday.
Gomez explained that she has chosen to 'step back [from the spotlight] a bit' after her health scare and kidney transplant.
But even though she has consciously avoided the public eye, Selena still made many headlines, mainly due to her romances with The Weeknd and then with Justin Bieber.
Nowadays, Selena is back at work and is very 'grateful.'
That being said, she is apparently so focused on her work that 'I might be working on my birthday,' next month when she is set to turn 26.
But 'It is [a good thing]. I'm very lucky. I'm grateful.'
As for her latest project, Selena voices the character of Mavis, daughter of Adam Sandler's hilarious Dracula.
In this third installment of the Hotel Transylvania movies, the unusual family is shown going on a cruise, therefore the title!
So considering that the film's message is taking it easy, what is making Selena happy?
'I love to listen to 'This Is Me' from The Greatest Showman. I love it,' she replied.

Fans are definitely not surprised about that as she's shared a vid of her jamming to it in her car before.
