Hailey Baldwin has set the record straight on reports that she and Shawn Mendes are dating and has revealed that she's currently enjoying all the perks of being 100% single.

While a bunch of fans assumed that their appearance indicated a romance, Hailey told The Times that their friendship is actually totally platonic: "We hang out and he's super-lovely and a very, very nice young gentleman. But I am single."
This lines up perfectly with Shawn's recent comment about his relationship status. In an interview with E! News, he revealed: "I am single. The Met Ball was such an incredible experience for me. It was just overwhelming in the most incredible way.
He continued: "I was so lucky for my first time going there to be able to go with someone like Hailey because she's such a vet and I really admire people like her because of how outgoing she is in such an overwhelming experience."
This comes as Hailey also opened up about her break-up with Justin Bieber. Following their split, she admitted that things were "weird" between them for a while, but said that the pair are finally back on good terms again.
Describing their friendship as a "very mature situation," she added that they've officially moved past the drama of 2016 and have come to terms with the fact that they work "much better" as good pals.
