Wednesday night, Jelena's usual date day, came and went, this time with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spending time physically together yet absolutely apart in the same theater for church. Gomez was photographed arriving at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills last night while Bieber was photographed leaving it. This is the first time Bieber and Gomez have been in the same place since February 28, when they left the same Beverly Hills church service separately.

Churchome has one service there at 8 p.m., the one Jelena presumably attended many times in the past. It's not clear whether Bieber and Gomez interacted inside, but they definitely arrived and left separately—so the message to paparazzi at least is that they are absolutely not together. When they were dating, Gomez and Bieber were often photographed arriving in the same vehicle. Their dates would also have multiple spots, including the ice rink where Gomez watched Bieber play hockey or any nice Los Angeles restaurant where the two could have a PDA-filled dinner.
But yesterday, hours before service, Bieber was with his new fling Baskin Champion, who was photographed arriving at his house in the afternoon. Around that time, Gomez was at the photo call for Hotel Transylvania 3 in Culver City, promoting her new film project at her first big event since February.
So Jelena remains off for now, though People reported at the beginning of April that Bieber would really, really love to change that. "He loves her. He wants her back," a source close to Bieber told the outlet, adding that Bieber "misses" Gomez.
E! last reported that Jelena's break was becoming a permanent breakup by Gomez's choosing. "Selena realized even though he's made some positive improvements, they just aren't a perfect match right now," a source told the outlet on March 27.
