Justin Bieber will not face any criminal charges for allegedly throwing a punch at a man who was assaulting a woman at a party because the man does not want to press charges, according to TMZ.
The outlet reported that the "Sorry" singer played hero Saturday night at a Coachella party when he stepped in after he saw a man grab a woman by the throat and refuse to let go.
The police reportedly responded to the punch, but were unable to make any arrests, as the choking was not reported and they were unable to find witnesses to corroborate the man's claim that Bieber was involved.

The Palm Springs Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment, nor did a rep for Bieber.
The Canadian singer has been spending time in Indio, Calif., at the Coachella Music Festival, which has also drawn the likes of stars like Bella Hadid, Iggy Azalea and Kylie Jenner.
