Work hard, play harder: That seems to be the deal for many major talents at Coachella, especially Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and others who aren't necessarily hitting one of Indio's stages but came to support their favorite acts and party anyway.
From Justin Bieber's affection for Greta Van Fleet and "Yodel Boy" to Minaj's Shania Twain-starring backstage pics and Rihanna's vintage, VIP glam, here's a brief rundown of how the celeb set is spending their weekend at the desert festival.
Keep checking out what your favorite stars are up to throughout the weekend, and take a look at photos from the first day of Coachella 2018 here.
Justin Bieber
The pop star isn't on the Coachella lineup this year, but that didn't stop him from booking it to Indio to catch the first day of action. He posed for a pic with Mason Ramsey -- the "Yodel Boy" whose now-viral vocal acrobatics launched him from his local Walmart to national fame -- shortly after watching the young sensation perform. He hung out with "fav" rock act Greta Van Fleet. If Bieber was this pumped this early into the weekend to see some music and hang out, it's safe to assume he'll continue to live his best life throughout the weekend.
Nicki Minaj
The rapper was the centerpiece of one of the most celeb-packed pics to be posted this weekend yet, thanks to cameos from Shania Twain, Quavo, French Montana, The Weeknd, Timothee Chalamet of Call Me By Your Name and more.
Rihanna
Rihanna hit the desert channeling the mod glam of the '60s in a powder blue ensemble complete with a Supremes-worthy bob and a pastel eyeshadow that's gotta be Fenty Beauty.
Lil Wayne, Diplo and Post Malone
The rapper and super producer showed up backstage to support the "rockstar" before his Friday (April 13) set. 2/3 coordinated hand gestures ain't bad!
Carly Rae Jepsen
Jack Antonoff surprised his crowd by bringing pal and collaborator Carly Rae Jepsen out during his Bleachers set, and the "Call Me Maybe" singer was clearly thrilled to belt out her "new fave tune."
Rita Ora
Ora was all smiles on- and off-stage, as Kygo tapped her to belt out Selena Gomez's verses on their smash collaboration, "It Ain't Me," for the thousands-strong mainstage crowd.
Lauren Jauregui

The singer posted a few selfies before heading off to the festival to see Marian Hill do her thing on Saturday (April 14).
Halsey and G-Eazy
The "Him & I" couple were spotted holding hands and dancing across the festival grounds at various points on Friday. G-Eazy posted a couple of adorable photos of the two enjoying the music on his Instagram story, and shouted out Kyle during his performance as well.
Charli XCX
hey guys! check out my ass!! pic.twitter.com/YHTAovbvDy

After basking in the glow of SZA's set and getting her tan on in this leopard number, Charli partied in VIP at Coachella and earned herself a proper hangover. The "Boys" singer isn't on the lineup this year, but did perform at Lucky Brand's Desert Jam at the Arrive Hotel in Palm Springs on April 14.
Kali Uchis
Uchis wowed for her Coachella debut, and she's eager to get back onstage in all her gold-wrapped glory for the second weekend of the fest.
