A story asking whether Justin Bieber should "be worried" that Selena Gomez was spotted having drinks with Timothee Chalamet is completely made-up. The absurd report comes from a website known for fabricating articles designed to create drama, where there is none. Gossip Cop can expose what's really going on here.
On Friday, Gomez met up with Chalamet at Los Angeles' Sunset Tower Hotel, where he was having dinner with a friend. The actress arrived at the hotspot with a few girlfriends a couple of hours after the young actor got there. While the group hung out, Gomez reportedly had a martini while sitting next to Chalamet, her co-star in the upcoming Woody Allen movie A Rainy Day In New York. None of this has anything to do with Bieber.
That, of course, didn't stop HollywoodLife from inserting into the mix Bieber and his supposed reaction, all in a transparent attempt to manufacture false drama. And even though the site, which is aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies, notes that Chalamet and Gomez have chronicled their innocent "friendship" on Instagram on several occasions, it still tries to stir the pot by floating that it "can't help but wonder" what Bieber "feels about [Gomez] getting together with a hunky actor with whom she shares some steamy scenes." Tellingly, the often discredited website doesn't have an answer about what Bieber "feels" because, as Gossip Cop has been repeatedly told, no one close to him shares any information with that blog, which he once tried to get shut down because of all the the untrue stories it posted about him.
So, even though the blog's article is purportedly about whether Bieber should "be worried," it actually never answers its own question. The correct response, though, is "no." And it should be noted that right after meeting up with Chalamet, Gomez went to Bieber's house, where she stayed for a few hours with him before returning home.
As if anyone needed more proof that HollywoodLies knows nothing about either Bieber or Gomez, in the same article about Chalamet, the repeatedly disproven site brings up an absurd rumor that they're "expecting their first child together." It's just "speculation," adds the unreliable outlet. Actually, it is not. Gossip Cop corrected the false report about Gomez being pregnant with Bieber's baby nearly a week ago.
Also, the site didn't pay too much attention to the article it ripped off about Gomez reuniting with Chalamet at the Sunset Tower Hotel because that story reported, as Gossip Cop mentioned above, that the obviously not-pregnant actress was enjoying a martini. HollywoodLies often claims to have inside scoop about Bieber and Gomez, but clearly it doesn't since it brought up the possibility that she's pregnant, and it couldn't even answer its own bogus question about whether he should "be worried" about his girlfriend "getting together with a hunky actor." We've said it before, and we'll say it again: When it comes to Bieber and Gomez, Gossip Cop publishes facts, while HollywoodLife has been known to post fake news.
