In the mid-aughts, Nicole Richie helped pioneer the notion of the modern celebutaunt with a famous last name alongside Simple Life costar Paris Hilton. These days, her younger sister Sofia Richie finds herself constantly in the tabloids thanks to her friendship with Justin Bieber and, more recently, her controversial (but somewhat Kim Kardashian-approved) relationship with Scott Disick. As it turns out, though, they're not the only offspring of Lionel Richie. Now middle brother Miles Richie is stepping into the spotlight as an IMG-signed model who made his runway debut at Philipp Plein's bacchanal-cum-fashion show in Brooklyn on Saturday night during New York Fashion Week.
Of course, it might have been easy to miss Richie, considering there's always a lot going on at a Plein show; this one had Irina Shayk walking with an actual robot, indoor snow, a performance by Offset, and a rave directly afterwards. Nor was Richie the only celebrity scion on the runway: Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus and Sean "Diddy" Combs's son Christian also walked the show. In the midst of all that, Richie took the runway wearing a pair of Matrix-appropriate shiny ski pants and a leather jacket.
Nor is Miles, by the way, the first Richie to walk for Plein. Sophia Richie walked Plein's first show in New York City back in February 2017 (later she was spotted dancing on a table at the afterparty next to Paris Hilton), and again at a resort show in Cannes.
Miles Richie, however, is not completely new to notoriety. A few years back, he made headlines when a then 16-year-old Kylie Jenner controversially tattooed her initials on his hand (as you can see, he's since got quite a few more tattoos).
He's also racked up over 147,000 followers on Instagram.
In addition to selfies, he also has a thing for posting throwback family pics:
And he likes to post photos of Angelina Jolie amongst other iconic celebs as well:
