JAMES Locke has undergone painful £11k surgery to overhaul his image after being plagued by childhood insecurities.
The Towie veteran has had his ears pinned back as well as his hairline brought forward in a hope it will silence vile Twitter trolls, and said: "At one point they said I looked like Hitler."
In an exclusive chat with the Sun Online, James opened up about the extent of the trolling and said: "They cut off my head in one picture, and replaced it with Hitler's. I thought that was a bit strong.
"This was when I was at the National TV Awards, and I had to have that Justin Bieber hairstyle, 'the flip' covering my face as I had just had my hairline done and it was still healing.
"The trolls just went for me. They destroy people, but luckily I'm thick skinned, and even Justin Bieber himself 'liked' my tweet."
James, 31, underwent excruciating surgery to have his ears pinned back on Wednesday.
The Bilateral Otoplasty (ear correction surgery) with Dr Riccardo Frati set him back £5,000, while the hair transplant last month cost him a whopping £6,000.
Speaking about his recent ear surgery he said: "I looked like the elephant man. When I woke up I looked like I'd been attacked.
"The bandages made it look like I had a massive trauma. I was still buzzing from the drugs they gave me to go under, and I had to sign a waiver which said I could die, but I was so confident in my surgeon.
"I went home a few hours later and that night when I went to bed it began to hurt. It was aching and throbbing, a bit like someone had punched you in the ears."

He said: "Some people think I'm having an early midlife crisis, but I'm not.
"I have had a couple of insecurities since I was a kid about my ears and my hairline.
"One of my ears was cauliflower from playing rugby, and the other one had cartilage that stuck out since I was born.
"So the surgeon pulled them back to make them look more symmetrical.
"I'm a believer if something bothers you then fix it. So this is the price I have paid to make me feel good about myself, and for my body confidence."
