MEXICO, NNC - With just a few days left in 2017, Selena Gomez decided to go on holiday to Cabo, Mexico, for a New Year holiday with some close friends.
The r "Come and Get It" singe flew on a private jet on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 afternoon, with a group of close friends. Upon arriving, she headed straight to her private villa featuring a view of the blue ocean and an infinity pool.
"She looked very happy as she landed and were laughing with friends and taking photos," a source shared with E! News. "They all plan to have a nice dinner and spend the New Year's Eve together."
One person who was not there is Justin Bieber. Instead, a fan has spotted him playing hockey in Canada.
This is a big year for Selena who recently became Billboard's 2017 Woman of the Year. To Billboard she explained that she was proud of her current situation.
"I am really proud of where I am now, I handle things in a healthy way, I can enjoy where I am," she explained to Billboard. "I like being able to say 'no.' I love being part of the world."
"I cannot be more grateful for the position I have been given in my career, I want people to know that I appreciate the platform I have very deeply ... I never feel more proud to be a woman, in this industry," she shared to Billboard. "I am very grateful for all women before us who have helped us."
