Justin Bieber Thinks Selena Gomez Is “The One” Is Made-Up Story

A story about how Justin Bieber believes Selena Gomez is "the one" is made-up. Gossip Cop is told no one directly connected with the superstar shared such personal information. Rather, this is yet another attempt by a fabrication factory to try to capitalize on the on-and-off couple.

We are talking, of course, about HollywoodLife, which seems to peddle manufactured stories about Bieber and Gomez on a near-daily basis. The webloid does this to attract clicks from fans as well as traffic through search engines, as the stars' recoupling remains a hot topic. And the site seems to think it can get away with its concocted narratives as long as they are positive. That is not true. Fake, inauthentic information is fake, inauthentic information, regardless of whether it's good or bad. And that's exactly what HollywoodLies, as it's known, is offering up here, as the outlet falsely purports to have "EXCLUSIVE details" about the pair.

A so-called "source close to Justin" is quoted as saying, "As far as Justin is concerned, Selena has always been 'the one' and no other girl has ever come even close to her." Suspiciously, as this supposed snitch goes on to talk about their bond, he or she repeats "Justin" and "Selena" in almost every sentence, speaking in a most unnatural way. This purported snitch also doesn't say anything particularly revelatory. Other far more reliable publications, such as People, have already reported how strongly Bieber and Gomez feel for each other as their first loves.

This angle also isn't even original for HollywoodLies, which had a similarly made-up story in October about The Weeknd supposedly thinking Gomez was "the one." Now the online publication is applying that same concept with Bieber. The blog also goes on to prove that it doesn't have genuine insight when it writes, "Since Justin believes Selena is 'the one' we can't help but think a proposal may not be far off!" If the webloid actually had a "source," as it claims above, it would be able to ask about the possibility of a proposal, and know, as Gossip Cop does through our legitimate insiders, that an engagement is not on the immediate horizon.

But HollywoodLies is just speculating because it doesn't have genuine inside access. And the reason why it doesn't is likely something the site would prefer to forget. Bieber has blasted the outlet as "hurtful" and "garbage," even arguing it should be shut down. No "source close to Justin" would actually talk about his intimate feelings with a publication he so despises, and we're told none did. But again, the publication seems to think that because it's writing something nice about him, it's okay. No, it's not. As long as it's made-up, as this story is, it is not real news and not acceptable.
