Hillsong leader says he baptised Justin Bieber in a bathtub

In an episode of Vice's Desus & Mero, Lentz said he had called NBA player Tyson Chandler at 2AM to ask if he and Beiber could use his pool.

Chandler offered his bathtub instead, and at 3AM, he and his wife watched as Lentz baptized the Canadian singer.

Speaking about the unusual location for the baptisim, Lentz said: "That's the thing about baptism… it's not about where, it's about why."

 

The 23-year-old singer has often talked about his faith and frequently posts Bible verses and sermon quotes on his social media pages.
