Selena Gomez's friends aren't upset about her reunion with Justin Bieber, nor have they issued an ultimatum to cut ties with the singer, despite a bogus report. Gossip Cop looked into the alleged drama and we can exclusively set the record straight.
"Friends Warn Selena: It's Us Or Justin!" blares a new RadarOnline headline. The accompanying article contends that Gomez's pals are "furious" she's back with Bieber, who they believe will only hurt her. "Selena's friends bore the brunt of her sadness when Bieber broke her heart time after time over all these years," a so-called "source" tells the site.
According to the webloid, the person who feels most betrayed is her best friend Francia Raisa, who recently donated a kidney to the singer. "It's Francia who's the most vocal," says the outlet's questionable insider. "She's saying she didn't donate a body organ to save Selena's life only for her to go and ruin it by running back to him. Everyone knows this reunion is very bad news."
Gossip Cop, however, is told the site's story is inaccurate. Naturally, there are always concerns when any exes reunite considering the relationship fizzled the first time around, but the claim that Gomez's friends have instructed her to ditch Bieber simply isn't true. A source close to the situation exclusively assures us the webloid's take on the situation is "false."
Of course, RadarOnline isn't the best source when it comes to getting truthful stories about Gomez. Gossip Cop recently called out the site for publishing a deceptive article about Gomez getting caught kissing a so-called "mystery man." We also previously corrected the webloid for wrongly reporting Gomez was ditching her career to join The Weeknd on his concert tour. This latest story involving her renewed relationship with Bieber is similarly bogus.
