Do not expect Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift to spend Thanksgiving together because rumors claim they are not fans of each other.
However, the two stars decided to put their differences aside for the sake of someone very special that they have in common — Selena Gomez.
A source close to the two artists said they are very proud of Miss Gomez's big return at the American Music Awards which took place this past weekend.
Gomez, who had life-saving kidney surgery over the summer, took the stage where she delivered an amazing performance of her song, "Wolves."
A person close to Swift said the show her pal put on at the awards ceremony moved her.
The friend claimed "Taylor is inspired by Selena's courageous return to performing live. After seeing her dear friend endure a traumatic health crisis, Taylor was blown away to see then Selena work hard to return to the AMAs with an emotional live performance."
The insider went on to say: "Taylor is touched and moved by Selena's resilience. Taylor felt proud to be Selena's friend, and she enjoyed watching her get back to her love performing her music live for her fans. Selena's AMA appearance was challenging, so Taylor was completely supportive and happy for her dear friend."
As for Bieber, he is beaming with pride after watching Gomez ding her heart out.
The source shared: "Justin [Bieber] is super proud of Selena [Gomez]'s courageous return to performing live. He is so happy for his girlfriend because he knows what a challenging road Selena has been through and how difficult it has been for her. Justin is well aware of all of Selena's health issues, so he feels that her AMA performance was extra special and meaningful for her. He surprised her by making sure that her dressing room at the AMAs was covered with dozens of roses for her after her amazing return. Justin is happy for her because he knows how many countless hours of rehearsal Selena put into this performance. He is pleased too that after all of her health problems, Selena is finally moving forward and getting back to performing for her fans."
