"Justin is a vile human and will never be accepted by us," one of her family members told TMZ. "As long as she is even speaking to him in any way, it is not only disrespectful to everyone around her, it is disrespectful to herself."
So, if those closest to her weren't too fond of a Jelena reunion, what the heck made Selly decided to get back with The Biebs officially? You know what they say — the heart wants what it wants!
A source close to the "Wolves" crooner told People magazine, "Justin was Selena's first love. He will always have a special place in her heart. She's always held out hope that one day the circumstances and timing would be right."
The insider also revealed that the 25-year-old "always saw the best in" her 23-year-old on-again boyfriend, even when he was pulling stunts that made even the biggest Beliebers question their loyalty.
"There have been times in the past where Selena was excited and thought things would work out again, but then was disappointed [by how things turned out]," the source continued.
People still says that JB and SG are not on boyfriend-girlfriend terms just yet, but they're definitely taking their rekindled romance seriously and want it to get that way soon.
"They're having a great time together," a source close to Justin explained. "Neither are seeing anyone else and they seem happy to leave it at this for now. Spending time together makes them both very happy. For Justin, no one ever came close to comparing to Selena. He always thoughts she was the most special and now seems mature enough to realize Selena deserves the best."
