Amidst reports that the former couple has been hanging out again, there's mounting speculation that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may be dating again. According to TMZ, they are "clearly dating," although the two haven't confirmed anything. Adding more fuel to the rumor fire, brand new photos of the pair suggest that things are starting to heat up between these exes. (Bustle reached out to Gomez's rep and Bieber's agent for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.)
After a weekend hangout, which TMZ indicates included an one-on-one breakfast trip after the two reportedly attended a church service together, Gomez and Bieber were spotted out and about on Wednesday, Nov. 1. And from the looks of the photos featured on TMZ, the duo seems to be getting pretty cozy with one another. Gomez and Bieber, who have dated on and off since 2010, enjoyed a bike ride in L.A. and were later photographed snuggling up as they walked down the street arm-in-arm, as Gomez leaned in to adoringly lay her head on Bieber's shoulder.
It appears that Bieber wasted no time capturing the attention of his former flame after learning that she recently called it quits with singer The Weeknd.Reports initially indicated that the "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer and Bieber were just friends and that the meet-ups were totally fine with Gomez's then-assumed boyfriend, The Weeknd. However, it seems that there may be more to the story for #Jelena.

Gomez and Bieber have been spending a lot of quality time together following Gomez's kidney transplant surgery earlier this year, according to Us Weekly. The first sighting of the pair occurred as the "Sorry" crooner attended a gathering at Gomez's home last week. It seemed to be just an innocent meeting between friends, as it was reported that several other acquaintances of Gomez's were present at the get together. However, the moment would have fans scratching their heads about Gomez and Bieber's romantic involvement. Curiosity of a rekindled romance would exponentially heighten when photos began to surface of their after-church breakfast rendezvous on Sunday, Oct. 29. The trail of clues lead to this recent event, in which the pair showed their first signs of PDA by gazing into to each others eyes and cuddling-up with each other.
Gomez and Bieber have had a long history of break-ups and make-ups, carrying on their last public feud in Aug. 2016. Gomez notably called Bieber out for treating his fans poorly after he threatened to delete his Instagram account amidst receiving derogatory comments about his new romance with Sofia Richie. Gomez would go on to accuse the "What Do You Mean?" entertainer of cheating on her during their relationship. Bieber clapped back with some cheating accusations of his own, alleging that Gomez had been unfaithful with One Direction singer, Zayn Malik.
The former Disney actor would later seemingly apologize for her actions via Snapchat, explaining that her comments were "selfish and pointless." The ugly exchange between the pair would seemingly end their longtime friendship for good. However, their recent encounters suggest that they still have strong feelings for one another. An unnamed source for Us Weekly indicated that Gomez "was happy with The Weeknd but Justin always has the biggest piece of her heart." Meanwhile, another source for Us explains that Bieber, "really wants to get back with Selena."
