The lead singer, who's friends with both Liam and Noel Gallagher, insisted the brothers' feud will end soon.
Liam's debut solo record As You Were, out on Friday, will be a soaring success and the nudge Noel needs to finally set a reunion date, Grant reckons.
Speaking ahead of Feeder's intimate show at Hard Rock Cafe London, the rocker told me: "I know Liam. I see him quite regularly actually because he lives near me.
"He seems to have made a lot more of a mark with this one than he did with Beady Eye. I've heard a few of the songs, they sound pretty good to me.
"They should just get back together and get on with it really as it will happen at some point."

Grant hinted he's got the inside scoop when it comes to the inevitable Oasis reunion.
He added: "My old flatmate is their agent actually so I do get a bit of info.
"It's hard for Liam. He was the frontman for Oasis, he wasn't the brains and I think it's hard as Noel has done so well but Liam hasn't really done it yet.
"Love or hate them, Oasis was a really iconic band, and they'll be reforming for the Glastonbury set in a few years and make loads of money."

Just you stay away
GETTY
Justin Bieber's bad-boy reputation is preventing him from buying a home in Beverly Hills.
Local residents in the Californian city are determined to keep the popstar away from their neighbourhood and are making it difficult for him to rent a house.
Biebs is reportedly being forced to stay in a hotel which he's rented for a year because he can't find a mansion to rent.
The homeowners do have good reason to worry though.
In 2015 he trashed his old Beverly Hills home when he threw a Grammys after-party, and the year before he was fined for egging his neighbours!

Miley Finds Her Lost Youth
GETTY
Miley Cyrus's latest album Younger Now is living up to its name.
The Malibu songstress revealed she's rediscovered her youth through her new LP.
Miley explained: "The album is really about being able to find, I think, a free-spirited kind of youthfulness in what I am doing.
"And treat people with compassion and love and respect, which is you know, really something that's very important to me and to my family.
"But also being able to have fun with the record also."
At 24 I'm shocked Miley ever lost her youth!
