Happy Bieber's back.
Justin Bieber is emerging from "a very dark place," sources recently told People. The pop superstar is said to be doing "much better" since hitting a serious low point a few months back.
"It was a really bad scene," the source said. "He was just not himself. He was profoundly unhappy. Exhausted, low energy. He was just miserable. He needed to step back, recalibrate, and then figure out his next move."
According to People's sources, Bieber isn't totally out of his rut, but he's getting there day by day.

"It has been a process, but he's doing so much better," the anonymous insider said. "You can talk to him and see that the old Justin is coming back. He seems happier, more energetic. It's encouraging. He's not completely there, but he's definitely on his way."
While reports of Bieber's proverbial rise from the ashes remain unconfirmed by him or his camp, there's no denying that things got dicey for the "Friends" singer.
The award-winning musician canceled the remaining dates on the Purpose world tour suddenly in July. His manager Scooter Braun later released a statement on Instagram in which he alluded to Bieber's internal struggles.
"A man's soul and well being I truly care about came first and we must all respect and honor that," he wrote. "Justin will be back and I know he looks forward to performing for you and with you all again. One chapter ends and another begins."
