And on Sunday, Justin Bieber spent his day hanging out with a male pal in LA.

The 23-year-old headed to a recording studio and carried what appeared to be a Bible.

Justin was casually dressed in white T-shirt and neutral-toned shorts.

The Despacito crooner added a pair of tube socks, athletic shoes and a baseball cap to complete his look.

'Yung n phree': The Grammy-winner shared a photo of the men on Instagram. His caption referenced the boy's youth and, in Christianity, the freedom one finds in Jesus Christ. It also is the name of the Hillsong band, Young & Free

The celebrity's caption was a play on words.

It referenced the boy's youth and, in Christianity, the freedom one finds in Jesus Christ.  When spelled correctly, it's also the name of the Hillsong band, Young & Free.
