Justin Bieber reckons Ed Sheeran should write him another hit song because he still owes him after being accidentally hit with a golf club after a night out.
Earlier this year, the 23-year-old Canadian singer was accidentally cracked right in the cheek with the sports equipment during a game in Japan.
Sheeran, who famously wrote Bieber's hit Love Yourself jokingly said the 26-year-old Sing hitmaker should write him another track to make up for it, and admitted he hopes the pair get to work together in the near future.
''Of course I want him to write for me again in the future," The Biebs told The Sun online. "I get that every artist out there wants him to write for them - but we are buddies and he still owes me from hitting me with a golf club!
"Artists are fighting over Ed - he is a genius when it comes to song writing.''
Bieber went on to lavish more praise on Sheeran saying, ''If Ed writes you a song you pretty much know you have a guaranteed hit.
"I think probably a lot of people aren't even aware of some of the songs he has written for the biggest performers in the world over the last few years. He wrote Love Yourself for me and bang - it was the biggest song of 2016.''

Sheeran previously opened up about the golfing incident to The Guardian, saying: "He just drank water and I got hammered. Then we went to a golf course, and he lay on the floor and put a golf ball in his mouth and told me to hit it out of his mouth. I was like, 'F--k, I need to aim this properly,' and I swung.
"And you know in films when someone gets punched, and you hear that fake sound, like a slap? But in real life when someone gets punched, you hear that dull thud, a bit sickening? I heard a sound like the last one, and saw his security guard looking at me. I'd cracked Justin Bieber right in the cheek with a golf club. That was one of those 'What the f--k?' moments."
