JUSTIN Bieber left fans less than impressed at his British Summertime gig in Hyde Park on Sunday evening after he went on a series of bizarre rants due to a bad cold.
The Canadian popstar – who was headlining Sunday's line-up at the fortnight long event – apologised to his fans for having a "bad night" as he pushed through a head cold that threatened his performance.
At one point during the bizarre two hour stint on the stage, he started ranting about vaporub brand Vicks and declared that he was more used to using Olbas oil.
The star then poignantly added: "Life is worth living without Vicks in your nose."
As he continued to fight the phlegm in an increasingly awkward set, he used a towel on stage to blow his nose, and nearly threw it into the audience before stopping himself.
"I have a cold," he told the crowds. "You don't want to catch this."
However, he later scolded the set up of the festival and slammed the merry-go-round in another off-topic moment, pointing at the popular fairground ride and saying: "That looks fun- said noone ever!"
Clearly frustrated as time wore on and his voice cracked more and more, he later took his anger out on his back up performers when he realised they were chatting as he spoke to the crowd.
Addressing his team directly, he said: "What are you talking about that is more important than what I'm saying?"
He then went onto sing Baby with no more communication with the crowd.
Other fans were left less than impressed when at one point it appeared he resorted to miming - holding his hand up to his face like he was holding a microphone, despite him wearing a handsfree set at the same time for his dance routines.
A source told The Sun Online: "We paid £200 each for tickets to be close to the stage and it's an insult that he's miming through a lot of the songs. It's obvious when he isn't as then he can't even get the words out."
Fans online seemed to notice as well, and made their feelings known on Twitter.
One wrote: "Left a miming Justin Bieber at @BSTHydePark to get home in time for @LoveIsland...#StickorTwist"
Another added: "At Hyde Park Festival. Shame Justin Bieber is miming..."
A third didn't sound so convinced about Justin's ailment and wrote: "Justin Bieber had """"""a cold"""""" that got progressively worse during the show and prompted a monologue about the joys of olbus oil."
While a fourth added: "Srsly tho seeing how bad Justin bieber was at Hyde park made me realise even more how freaking amazing Taylor swift is .Because dam she good"
The Sun Online has contacted Justin's representatives for comment.
