40000 fans expected for Cardiff Justin Bieber concert

Great Western Rail will be running eight extra trains into the city centre to help fans get to Justin Bieber's Purpose Tour.

40,000 fans are thought to be heading to the Purpose Tour concert at the Principality stadium starting at 6:30pm with gates due to open from 5pm.

Two extra trains will take passengers from Bristol to Cardiff with six more laid on to bring fans home.

The last train to Bristol will run at 11.27pm and GWR are advising travellers to leave plenty of time as there will be a queueing system in place at Cardiff Central to help people board trains safely.

While we have provided over 3,000 extra seats to meet demand, a post event queueing system will be in place to help passengers board their train home safely.

People travelling from further afield are also being reminded to check journey times to prevent missing connections.
