The music mogul is helping his star act through her Manchester terror attack ordeal
SCOOTER Braun has managed some of the best-selling recording artists in the world, including bringing Justin Bieber from teen star to pop's resident bad boy.
But he's currently dealing with what might be the biggest challenge of his career, looking after Ariana Grande in the wake of the vile Manchester Arena terror attack that killed 22 of her dedicated fans. Here's everything you need to know about the talent manager.
Who is Scooter Braun?
New York-born Scott Braun, who goes by the nickname Scooter, is a highly successful player in the talent management industry.
This year, he scooped an Award for the Best Talent Manager at the International Music Industry Awards.
He has represented an impressive number of chart-topping artists, including Psy, Carly Rae Jepsen and The Wanted. He notably signed Cruz Beckham in 2016, when the teen released Christmas song If Everyday Was Christmas.
What is he doing with Ariana Grande after the Manchester arena terror attack?
Pop diva Ariana was understandably shaken after a suicide bomber killed 22 people at her Dangerous Woman tour stop in Manchester.
Close friend and fellow singer Camila Cabello said the songstress had been "shaken up" by the incident, while Ariana said on Twitter that she felt "broken".
As Ariana's manager, Scooter was involved in planning the tour and will also have taken a large role in helping the singer recover following the attack, and organising her charity concert for the victims.
Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Pharrell Williams, Niall Horan, Take That and Coldplay will also perform at the concert alongside Ariana.
Scooter will continue to manage Ariana while her world tour is currently postponed due to the attack – though she could be on the road again soon after her tribute concert.
How did Scooter Braun become famous?
The 35-year-old was working in marketing when he stumbled across a video of 12-year-old Justin Bieber singing on YouTube.
He was so stunned by the rendition of Ne-Yo's So Sick, that he immediately contacted Justin's mum, Pattie Malette.
After convincing the Biebers to move from Canada to the US to chase their son's dream, Scooter managed to land the young singer a recording deal.
Bieber impressed both Justin Timberlake and Usher, before signing a contract with Island Def Jam.
Scooter was praised for managing to spot the performer online and has been renowned for his eye for talent ever since.
Justin included Scott in his concert film Never Say Never in 2011, which showed the young singer rising from street busker to global megastar.
Who has Scooter Braun managed?
Scott owns two record labels: School Boy Records and Raymond-Braun Media Group, which is a joint company with RnB singer Usher.
School Boy Records handles acts including The Black Eyed Peas, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Wanted, Cody Simpson and Ariana Grande.
RBMG Records' main star is Justin Bieber, but they also represent Gangnam Style singer PSY and South Korean rapper G-Dragon.
Cruz Beckham became the latest artist to attract the attention of the music mogul in 2016, and Scooter tips him to be the next big star.
But the talent manager was forced to step in to stick up for the youngest Beckham boy after he was blasted by Piers Morgan online.
