The commercial, for the streaming service's Premium For Family package, shows a locked bedroom door.

A teenage girl places a speaker outside the door as it plays Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself".

She then looks to the camera and says: "Yep, Bieber's Love Yourself. I think we all know what's going on in there."

After the advert was aired, many people took to social media to share their views.

Ben wrote on Twitter: "That advert is a disgrace @Spotify You should be ashamed."

Michelle said: "Spotify 'family' advert – about things inappropriate for children?! During BGT which kids obv watch!? How are these things getting past ofcom?!"

However Eoghain said it was the "advert of the year" and Jon Wagstaffe said it was "the best advert".

One of Spotify's Twitter account, @Spotifycares responded to some of the people who were left offended.

They said: "We took inspiration from family life's more offbeat moments. We didn't mean to cause offence. We'll pass your feedback on."

Dance duo Grace and Ali's audition for Britain's Got Talent

Last night's show involved another scandal as it was revealed that dance duo Grace and Ali, already has a major TV connection with judge Alesha Dixon.

The pair, introduced as teen sweethearts before their audition, wowed the judges and sailed through to next round this week, leaving Alesha "in awe" of their skills.

But it seems Ali Rasul, 16, already came first on her CBBC talent contest Alesha's Street Dance Stars in 2011, a win which rocketed him to personal success in the West End.
