Justin Bieber posts picture of self on Instagram wearing Penguins jersey

Justin Bieber posted a picture of himself wearing a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey to his verified Instagram account Wednesday.

Some Penguins fans were not pleased, taking to social media and claiming that Bieber wearing the jersey is a "curse."

He was spotted in April wearing a Maple Leafs jersey during the series against the Capitals.

In 2014, Justin Bieber attended a Bible Study with the Steelers. In the two games prior, Ben Roethlisberger threw 12 touchdown passes but they fell to the Jets that Sunday.

There are also other instances where Bieber supported teams like the New York Knicks and Spain's world cup team. The outcomes in both of those instances were less than favorable.
