Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" remix featuring Justin Bieber scores a third consecutive week at No. 1 on top of the UK's Official Top 100 Singles Chart.
The reggaeton juggernaut also reigns for a second week in the top spot on Australia's national ARIA singles chart.
The Official Charts Company also reports Bieber, Fonsi and Yankee's global collaboration notched up 114,000 combined sales this week, which secured its place at the zenith of the UK chart.
That is the highest one-week streaming tally for the mostly predominantly Spanish language single. Specifically, that is 51,000 downloads and 9.4 million streams.
Notably, "Despacito" is the first No. 1 by a Puerto Rican singer since Ricky Martin's 1999 hit "Livin' La Vida Loca."
For Justin Bieber, the remix isn't his only success story on the UK chart.
The Canadian superstar also keeps the No. 2 position for a second week with his feature on DJ Khaled's "I'm The One."
The Biebs is joined by Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, and Migos' Quavo on the all-star collaboration. Both Bieber-featuring songs hold off the former One Direction Liam Payne's Trap music effort "Strip That Down ft. Quavo."
After maintaining his top two positions, Justin has now overtaken British artist Ed Sheeran for the most weeks spent at No. 1 and No. 2 at the same time on the UK's Official Singles Chart.

Elsewhere, Bieber, Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" remix has kept its summit place atop Australia's Top 50 Singles chart for a second consecutive week.
The remix is also No. 1 in New Zealand, Ireland, and Canada.
The Bieber-featuring track is the first ever predominantly-Spanish language single to top Billboard's Hot 100 in the over 20 years since the "Macarena" in 1996.
While the original "Despacito" was — and still is — a huge global hit (it's in its 16th week atop Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart and the accompanying music video was just short of a billion views before the remix dropped), there is no denying the Biebs extended the song's life and sent it soaring in Anglo-Saxon markets.

Before Justin graced the remix with his turn, the original "Despacito" was at No. 48 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
The remix subsequently debuted at No. 9 on the same chart before rising to No. 1.
The feat provided Fonsi and Yankee with their first ever Billboard Hot 100 No. 1.
For Bieber, it's his fifth No. 1 atop the Hot 100, after "I'm The One," "Love Yourself," "Sorry," and "What Do You Mean." The latter became the Biebs' first leader on the chart in September 2015, his comeback year.
Additionally, Justin set a new record as the first singer in Billboard history to score new No. 1 hits in back-to-back weeks.
While other acts have succeeded themselves on the Hot 100 chart, Bieber is the only one to do it in a consecutive second week.
Headline Planet reports the "Despacito" remix has now entered the Top 10 on this week's Mediabase pop radio airplay chart after rising six places.
The music website site notes the song received nearly 8,234 plays during the May 21-27 tracking week.

Meanwhile, Bieber is enjoying some downtime in New York City over the May Bank Holiday while his "Purpose World Tour" is on a brief break.
The pop prince was spotted hanging out with longtime pals, Pastor Carl Lentz, others from Hillsong Church, and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
This week, Justin's group visited the 1 OAK club, shopped in SoHo, and hung out in the Hamptons.
CNNEntertainment reporter Chloe Melas tweeted two photos on Sunday of the singer at the Wolffer Estate vineyards in the Hamptons.
In one caption, Melas noted that the Biebs "hugged tons of fans," adding that he was super sweet.
She also said the superstar congratulated her on her pregnancy.
As for the "Despacito" remix, it's been the No. 1 jam on iTunes worldwide for nearly a month. The Song of the Summer is definitely having a moment.
