Bieber Wasn't The First And Won't Be The Last -- 13 Other Artists Who Sang Songs in Non-Native ...

Justin Bieber's feature on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despasito" is currently No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but then again, there are few things the Biebs can do that would disappoint the masses. Recently, the Canadian-born singer forgot the Spanish lyrics and replaced them with Gibberish while performing the dance song at a nightclub performance, which proves 1. Spanish is not Bieber's first (or second) language, and 2. he may need more practice.

Sure, it's easy for singers like Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira to record songs in Spanish due to their obvious Hispanic heritage, but it's a whole other ball game when fluency isn't your forte.

Bieber is arguable the most famous artist to tackle singing a song in a non-native language, but he definitely isn't the first.

Here are 13 other artists who did the same:

BeyoncĂ© – 'Irreemplazable' / 'Irreplaceable' (Spanish)
