Justin Bieber shares his DUI mugshot: Thank God I'm not where I used to be

Justin Bieber is one of the most celebrated singers in the world who is also involved in a lot of controversies. 

Way back in 2014, Justin was caught in a drag racing in Miami, according to a leading US-based entertainment website. He then failed a field sobriety test and was charged with DUI. His blood alcohol level was below the limit but he tested positive for Xanax and marijuana.

Ultimately the singer avoided jail. He reached a plea deal with the prosecutors, pleading guilty. 

Now we're in 2K17 and things have become much better for Bieber. His album Purpose was a mega hit and he is now busy with the Purpose Tour as he travels the world. He will soon be coming to India for his concert on May 10, 2017, at DY Patil stadium. 

Justin took to Instagram, to share a 'Then and Now' post. While the 'Then' picture was a mugshot from his 2014 DUI case, the second one is a recent photo of the singer being happy with a new change within himself. 

His caption reads, "I LOVE THIS because it reminds me IM NOT EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO BE BUT THANK GOD IM NOT WHERE I USED TO BE!! THE BEST IS YET TO COME DO YOU BELIEVE IT?"

Meanwhile, last year, Justin had deleted his Instagram for a while. He did so because his then girlfriend Sofia Richie was targetted with social media hate for dating the singer. He had said, "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."
