Justin Bieber compared his fans to "animals" while having lunch in Australia last week. So was he being rude? Or did the Beliebers go too far?

A photo shows Bieber swarmed by fans outside a Chargrill Charlie's restaurant in Sydney. Video also confirms that they chased him as he ran to the safety of his car.

Other videos then show Bieber lashing out at fans who got too close to him. At one point, he says to the crowd, "The more you guys scream and act like animals, the less we can have a conversation." He tells another fan, "Who touched my face? Don't touch my face!"

Of course, this isn't the first time Justin Bieber has lashed out at his fans. A few days before this latest incident, another fan tried snapping a picture of the singer while he got into his car. He then told her, "You make me sick."

Bieber's frustration with his fans was also well-documented last year. In November, he punched a man who tried to stick his hand through the singer's car window. That came a few months after he allegedly told fans in Norway that they "suck," though he may have just been joking around.

And, of course, Bieber famously canceled his meet-and-greets with fans back in March. Two months later, he revealed that he would no longer take photos with them in public.

It doesn't say in fine print whenever you see me you also get a photo."

But is Justin Bieber really being rude? After all, he is just trying to live his life in peace without being interrupted by constant requests from fans. So some think it's the Beliebers who are really out of line.
