Justin Bieber plagiarizes Trump legal tactic in egging case

Justin Bieber doesn't want the world to see his deposition regarding his egging the home of former Calabasas neighbors Jeffrey and Suzanne Schwartz.

The January 2014 incident in the 25000 block of Prado Del Grandioso cost the pop star $80,000 in restitution under terms of a two-year probation. He also attended anger management classes, and completed 40 hours of community service.

But the Schwartzes aren't done with him yet, saying Bieber caused them emotional damage.

So Bieber's reps are copying a Donald Trump legal move — filing a motion to keep his deposition private.

TMZ says the motion cites Trump's order of protection in his Trump University lawsuit.

"Bieber, 22, does not want the media to obtain his videotaped deposition because he believes it could become a spectacle," says the New York Daily News. "And Trump felt the same way about his own legal troubles.

"A judge ultimately ruled in the president-elect's favor this summer that his video deposition in his Trump University lawsuit would not be accessed by the news media."
