Despite Bieber and Gomez living separate lives now, "Jelena" fans have reasons to believe that the two will be together again. Read on to get updates on the Bieber-Gomez reunion.
According to the Inquisitr, Gomez and Bieber have had an "on and off' relationship" for years. The two met in 2009 and appeared in public together at an Oscar party in 2011. The couple's breakup happened back in Nov. 2012.
In 2013, Bieber posted an Instagram picture of him with Gomez. This came as a shocking news to fans, hinting at a possible reunion. Fans speculate that the "hot and cold" history of the couple's relationship is a good sign that the couple has never really gotten over each other.
According to iTechPost the Kill 'em with Kindness singer is taking a break from the spotlight to recover from her battle with lupus and some mental health issues. Gomez was reportedly diagnosed with anxiety and depression as medical complications of the disease.

According to the prior source, Selena's mom is trying to keep the details of the singer's treatment private. Gomez is currently admitted in Brookhaven, a rehab facility for women. The singer is expected stay there for a few months. Gomez also cancelled her Revival Tour in light of her health conditions.
Other reports claim that the rehab may be due to Selena's alcohol abuse and excessive partying. It is also reportedly caused by her previous Instagram feud with Bieber.
Bieber Gomez Instagram feud
It can be recalled that the exes had an online feud just last month, and it caused Bieber to leave Instagram. Bieber posted a photo of him and then girlfriend Sofia Richie which caused an uproar.
Bieber wrote on Instagram: "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."
His ex Gomez then commented: "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend." She added: "Don't be mad at your fans. They love and supported you before any one ever did."
Bieber responded with: "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way."
Gomez did not back down, commenting: "Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times are the ones pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive. No wonder fans are mad."
This was eventually shut down by Bieber, who ended with a response which dragged Zayn Malik into the mess. He commented: "I cheated…oh, I forgot about You and Zayn?"
After the incident, Bieber left Instagram and has not returned to post since then. Gomez, on the other hand, was admitted into rehab. While the two have had an "on and off" relationship, the exes's have a history of forgiving each other.

Reports speculate that the rocky relationship of Bieber and Gomez may not be over. The two stars are expected to attend the prestigious American Music Awards, where both were nominated.
Bieber is nominated in five awards, namely Favorite Album Pop/Rock, Favorite Male Artist, Pop/Rock, Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, and Favorite Song – Pop/Rock. Gomez, on the other hand, is nominated in two categories, namely Favorite Female Artist and Pop/Rock and Artist of the Year.
