Uhhhhh, did Justin Bieber finally figure out a not terrible thing to do with his hair?
For the first few years of his career, Biebs was known as a soulful Canadian child with the voice of an angel and the locks of a Trump.
I mean, look at this!
@eileen_gunn my guess is that the young Justin Bieber look was the "wrap haircut." pic.twitter.com/MjjydDcgvt

Casually brushing that caramel waterfall away from his eyes after singing "Baby" is what made this career POP.
It's been all downhill since then, though.
For a little while, he sported "The guy boinking your mom who lives in the trailer next door and calls you 'sport'."

Before that, there was the "Dear Slim, I wrote you but you still ain't callin'."
YouTube
Along the way, there was the "Your freshman college roomie who JUST found out about Jamaica three weeks ago and thinks SKA has become too corporate."

Those terrible hair days appear to be over, though, as Justin has finally decided to go back to his roots.
His hair roots. (B+ pun right there.)

It's a darker look, for sure. It's also getting longer, which is good because his hair was wayyyy too short beforehand.
The internet is mixed on how they feel about this new look.
Justin Bieber cutting his hair was the best thing he's done to his hair

At today's concert Justin asked the boys if he should again grow hair, to which all together answered "YES!". pic.twitter.com/qojIO9MDsB

There is an obviously calculated yet random effort behind maintaining Justin's head.
This year, his stylist Florido told Refinery29,
With Justin, it's not like, 'Oh, this is in, we're doing this' — he will literally throw me a curveball and be like, 'I'm growing my hair' or 'Let's shave it' or 'Let's color it.'
Justin is the master of his head at the end of the day, according to Florido, who said,
I just go with whatever he wants to do, and it always becomes a trend. It's so weird to me. I forget that people look up to his style; I will see people with his hair at his concerts!
