Von Miller really wants you to start a franchise around him in the new Madden NFL 17 game. And if he has to create a Justin Bieber parody video to get you to do it? Well, so be it.
There's a thin line between corny and brilliant when it comes to putting together a video like the one that Miller did when he shot "Start Me," his take on Bieber's smash, "Sorry." But we think the Broncos star pulled it off. It helps that he finished tied for sixth during Season 22 of Dancing With the Stars back in the spring, and it's clear Miller doesn't take himself too seriously, which allowed him to deliver a pretty solid performance here. One that Biebs himself might even acknowledge at some point in time.
If you want to compare it to the original Bieber video, you can go do it by watching that video below. It has more than 1.7 billion—yes, billion—views (and counting!), and if Miller can get, like, .01 percent of that, he will have more than done his job with this "Start Me" clip.
Is it enough to get you to actually start him on your Madden team, though? Either way, Madden 17 is set to feature a revamped franchise mode, new commentary, better defenses, and a bunch of other bells and whistles that will get you prepared for the upcoming football season. It's scheduled to hit stores next Tuesday and, as previously reported, it will feature Rob Gronkowsi on the cover.
