Regret is kicking in for Selena Gomez. The singer's decision to comment on Justin Bieber's Instagram with Sofia Richie was a rash one, and days later, she's REALLY wishing she didn't get involved. HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop!
"Selena is kicking herself for getting mixed up in all this drama with Justin," an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. "She made an emotional decision and now regrets it. She wishes she had just said what she said privately to Justin, rather than publicly."
The 24-year-old made her comment on her ex's Instagram photo with Sofia Richie, 17, on Aug. 14, after he warned his fans he would make his account private if they kept leaving mean comments about his new gal pal. His decision to shut out his loyal followers did not sit well with Sel, and she wrote that he should keep his relationship private, and not diss his fans, who've been there for him since day one.

The Biebs didn't care, though, and deleted his Instagram anyway — but not after the two went back and forth with a war of words first. He accused Selena of using their relationship for attention, and she made a shocking claim that he cheated on her MULTIPLE times while they were dating!
As we previously reported, the reason these two get so heated and into it with each other is because they still — and always will — have feelings for one another. Selena is actually still so invested in her ex, that she's even "jealous" of his new close friendship with Sofia, one report claimed.
The "Kill 'Em With Kindness" singer did admit that her comments were "selfish and pointless," but she's kept quiet about the whole situation ever since. Even though Justin was originally ignoring her apology calls…perhaps they've worked it out behind the scenes?
