LIVID Justin Bieber turns on fans over Sofia Richie! Hypocrite much? #RIPBeliebers

Normally, pop brat Justin Bieber can do no wrong in the eyes of his fans, who are collectively known as Beliebers…

But in dating Lionel Richie's daughter Sofia Richie, it seems he's stirred up a green-eyed hornet's nest.

However, the Canadian singer has become so sick of the 'hate' that's been levelled at Sofia that he's warned his fans that he will quit social media if it doesn't stop.

Or rather, he's warned that he will make his Instagram account private, but where his fans are concerned, that's as good as quitting.

He made that declaration having posted several pictures of himself and Sofia on the site, writing with one of them, "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate.

"This is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."

Well, while it is unforgivable that Sofia is being abused online, perhaps at least now Bieber has had a taste of his own medicine and learned that what goes round comes round. Has he forgotten that HE encouraged his fans to spread hate recently?

As we reported at the time, he urged his fans to "spam" and "take down" an entertainment news website that he had an issue with. But he clearly doesn't like it when someone he cares about is on the receiving end of the sort of abuse he encouraged.

But anyway, on Twitter, Bieber has yet to say anything to his fans about the Sofia drama. However, plenty of other Twitter users have, and at the time of writing, the hashtag #RIPBeliebers is the top global trend.

Using the hashtag – which, as we reported earlier, was preceded by the hashtag #exosnatchedjustinsfansparty – one Bieber fan wrote, "We're hurt cause we think that your decisions right now are mistakes. #RIPBeliebers @justinbieber."

Another Twitter user commented, "This fandom has gone too far #RIPBeliebers."

One more tweeted, "#RIPBeliebers stan someone who cares about their fans, problem solved."

Others though are just amused by the drama…

So, does this new drama mean that finally, Justin Bieber's fans now see him for the spoilt brat the rest of the world has always known he is?

Time will tell…
