English pop outfit Blossoms have retained the U.K. album chart crown with their self-titled debut for EMI/Universal. Today's new Official Charts Company data also shows "Cold Water" (Because Music), by electronic outfit Major Lazer featuring Justin Bieber and MØ, starting a fourth week at No. 1 on the singles countdown.
Blossoms withstood a midweek challenge from ELO's All Over The World compilation (Epic/Sony), and then from Drake's Views (Cash Money/Republic/Universal), which ended the week climbing 3-2, as ELO moved 4-3. Christine & the Queens jumped back 6-4 with Chaleur Humaine (Because Music) and Bob Marley and the Wailers' indestructible Legend compilation (Universal Island) improved 11-5, its highest weekly position since 1984.
There was also a 21-9 bounce for The 1975's former No. 1, I Like It When You Sleep... (Dirty Hit/Polydor/Universal), while highest new entry honors went to PartyNextDoor 3 (Parlophone/Warner Music) by Canada's PartyNextDoor.

Combined sales of nearly 83,000 gave "Cold Water" a fourth week atop the singles chart, comprised of 26,000 downloads and 5.67 million streams. That kept it ahead of "Let Me Love You" (Interscope/Universal) by DJ Snake featuring Justin Bieber, which retained last week's No. 2 debut position.
Calum Scott logged a sixth week in the top five as "Dancing On My Own" (Instrumental) held at No. 3, as Chainsmokers recorded their second top five hit of recent weeks with "Closer" (Disruptor) climbed 12-4. "Perfect Strangers" (Positiva/Universal) by Jonas Blue featuring J.P. Cooper also recorded its sixth straight week in the top five, dipping 4-5.
There were climbs into the top 20 for Lil Wayne's "Sucker For Pain" (Atlantic/Warner Music), up 28-16, and Olly Murs' "You Don't Know Love" (Epic/Sony), up 35-19.
